Bridget was in her first-year dance studies in York University reaching out to me for a photoshoot when she came across my work in instagram. We approached the process of the shoot completely on blank canvas, meaning we had no idea what kind of dance shot we are going to capture since this was her first dance photo shoot. So I suggested to her using the fashion pose idea to play around with her hands and gestures in conjecture with her legs and heel technique to exaggerate and express the dance line and form organically at the same time.
